Brain Full, Body Tired

A List of Things on My Mind

This is a screenshot of one of my Lino It boards. I've always been fond
of colorful sticky notes. :)

  1. The red note is the best. It promises but doesn't sound commanding. I like sticky-notes. The best part is when you get to throw them away (or delete) because you have accomplished the task.

  2. I like your list. Sticky notes are my favorite way to keep track of things. I don't use Lino--and not sure I could remember to use it this way--but seems like it works for you

  3. Even in making lists you are so creative! Be sure to include that on the resume.

  4. What a fun, creative way to slice. I smiled when I saw the note, "Get resume done," since you were slicing about that recently. I liked that your notes covered such a range of aspects.

  5. I'm in love with sticky notes too! I have colorful sticky notes, shape sticky notes, electronic sticky notes -- I need sticky notes for organization and reminders! (Part of my type A personality!) I have never heard of Lino . . . another tech tool to check out! I agree with Elsie, even making lists you are creative! Thanks!

  7. I have so many stickies on my desktop, but enjoy looking through them anyway. If you find a way to remember ideas for writing from reading others' posts, let me know. I've bookmarked, copied a line or two, stickie noted, etc., but there are so many. Your picture is beautiful Diana, and filled with things meaning you! It's a great way to share.

  8. Thanks for sharing! It feels like my mind right now, except nicer because of the fun colors! I've used Wallwisher with my students but not Lino, so I'm excited to try it out since Wallwisher can be glitchy sometimes! Have you all tried Evernote for keeping track of writing ideas / things you want to remember? I Evernote all my teaching ideas and other things as well and it's AWESOME! P.S. I love the sticky about your husband -- such a good reminder! :-)

  9. I love how your slice is so, well, a real slice of your day - the things you need to do/remember. And I double love the sticky notes. I've gotta figure out how to do that, too. :)

  10. Vibrant and fantastic. I think you have plenty on your mind. I like the reminder to let your husband know you appreciate his help. So important. Totally love the layout.

  11. I love my old school stickies so much, I haven't really played with my electronic stickies. However, you and Linda have inspired me to try keeping track of blog post ideas and inspirations that way this March.

I also love the way a collection of lists like this can tell a story. It is a like a character sketch of YOU!

  12. Hmm. Is that resume still on a To Do List?

  13. I like the Lino It Board you created. Reminds me of another similar piece of technology I tried out (and forgot the name of) a few years ago. That's going to be on my mind for awhile.

Looking forward to watching the primary return results tonight.

  14. This looks like my brain right now. So much to keep track of, so little time to do it all.

  15. The best thing about this slice is that it is simple - just the lists - so I'll keep my response simple too. Enough said!

  16. What a cool way to organize your life. Great!

  17. Sticky notes are great...but not as great as you. :)
