Last week, Michelle wrote a fun post on writing equations. Thanks for the great idea, Michelle! This weekend, it finally warmed up in Michigan. I broke out the shorts and wrote some equations of my own.
It seems you captured everyone's thoughts about shorts and summer! I really like this idea and have put it in my notebook to try with students next year!
I like your play on the word short. Not what I expected, but very funny!
ReplyDeleteThese are great fun. I hope I'll get to try them with students next year. Love that 'white legs in shorts'. Isn't it startling?
ReplyDeleteWord play + math equations = funny
ReplyDeleteThis is very cute. I missed this last week. I may have to try it next week. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love this...we're definitely going to try this in my classroom!
ReplyDeleteToo honest + too funny = great fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
The second equation is spot-on! Love it!
ReplyDeleteoooh took me a bit to notice the squared sign, ugh, I've got a few squared experiences with food as well!
ReplyDeleteSo funny...I can commiserate with you about the snug shorts and blinding legs.
ReplyDeleteSummer sun + blinding legs = slimmer looking limbs and a happy owner.
Good luck! ;)
